Anna says: These images are my response to the environmentalist Rachel Carson's wonderful book 'Under the Sea-Wind'. Specifically 'Book 2- The Gull's Way' in which Carson beautifully describes a year in the life of Scomber, a mackerel. Media: Gouache and India ink on hot pressed paper.
Anna is based in Brighton and last year won the Cheltenham Illustration Winsor and Newton Prize for best use of materials.
